Sumer Is Icumen In with Artisan Gin

For those not familiar with the oldest known 13th Century musical composition “Sumer Is Icumen In“, the title meaning “Summer Has Come In” or “Summer Has Arrived”, this is what I felt when sipping on Sipsmith Summer Cup. Throw out your Pimm’s and grab a bottle of this.

It’s a beautiful, light & fruity summer cup when mixed with three parts lemonade, ice and a slice. I guarantee if you serve this up at your summer gatherings you will be very popular.

Based on Sipsmith‘s award winning London Dry Gin, it is then blended with a host of carefully selected summery ingredients including infusions of three of my favourite flavours, Earl Grey tea, Lemon Verbena and Cucumber. Aromatic yet surprisingly dry and darn delicious.
