VIDEO: Pushing The Limits: @Jump4Heroes Extreme BASE Jumping

Jump4Heroes are The Royal British Legion Extreme Human Flight Team:

Dean ‘Smudge’ Smith | Spencer Hogg | Alastair Macartney | Zoe Edwards

As serving and former members of the Armed Forces they felt it appropriate to support charities that help the Armed Forces, particularly The Royal British Legion. They aim to do this by both fund raising and increasing public awareness of the charities and their plight. Their aim is to do this by taking calculated risks and carrying out extreme projects, normally related to parachuting, canopy flight, paramotoring or BASE jumping.

Join Jump4Heroes as they take it to the next level again with this edit of their BASE jumping escapades and adventures around the World. Leaping from a city centre building in the crowded, bustling and industrialised urban environment through to the stark contrast of wingsuit proximity human flight into the gaping abyss of the rugged, yet glorious, mountainous environment.

Filmed on location in Istanbul, Turkey and Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland, The Royal British Legion Extreme Human Flight Team venture into the Swiss mountains, in sight of the infamous Eiger, and perform wingsuit proximity flights just inches from the cliff face at speeds of up to 130 mph. While in Istanbul, at The Pro BASE World Cup, they put in a medal winning performance leaping from the 236m Istanbul Sapphire building in the heart of the City centre. Their heading performance, freefall delay and precision accuracy enabled the two team members to win podium finishing places at this World Cup event.
